Geo targeting in geomarketing and internet marketing is the method of determining the geolocation (the physical location) of a website visitor and delivering different content to that visitor based on his or her location, such as country, region/state, city, metro code/zip code, organization, Internet Protocol (IP) address, ISP or other criteria.

  1. Geo Targeting allows a smaller business to compete with the big companies in their local market as to being found on the internet. It is about time and a much needed technology. It will be a big boom for the local business owner.

  2. Absolutely ! When is the last time you went to the Yellow Page Book to find a business. The world is used to using Google. Even from their smart phone.
